Our TDK students (Beáta Várkonyi, Ákos Bede, Csongor Váróczy, István Révész), who are doing research within the framework of the National Academy of Scientist Education, attended the XXI meeting of Nobel laureates and talented students in Szeged.
At the conference, which took place between 13-16 December 2023 and was attended by Thomas Südhof and Randy Schekman, who were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2013 for their discovery of genetic mechanisms regulating vesicular transport processes, Beáta Várkonyi (supervisors: Máté Demény and László Virág) gave a presentation on her research on the role of ADP-ribosylation in tumour cells.
