Research activities of the Department of Medical Chemistry cover various areas of life sciences ranging from molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology to pharmacology. Thematic focus of our research groups include cellular signal transduction (protein phosphatases and kinases) and oxidative stress signalling (with special regard to ADP-ribosylation).
